Very excited to announce that two of my stories have recently been published in international journals. YAY!!!!
“Something No One Else Can See” is available to read for free HERE
It’s set in the cane fields of far north QLD where I spent a lot of time as a child.
And my story “Against the Roaring of the Fire” has been published by Third Flatiron in its Hidden Histories anthology. This story was inspired by my recent trip to Scotland and its dark history of witch hunts.
YAY! Two stories out in one day!! Won’t mention the pile of rejections that accompanied these two. But it’s all worth it for the ones that make it and get read.
Let me know what you think!
Lots of love
Edwina xx
Edwina – Something is really lovely, very descriptive. Did I ever tell you I had a fairy dell down by the river on the farm. It was my hideaway from the world. I don’t remember having to build it though. I think it was a natural fairy dell!
Aha! I always made fairy dells too – you were so lucky growing up in that magical place. My earliest memories are of flying fish point – such beauty! Bit spoilt for normal life. Thanks so much for reading my stories. Feels good to have some out there again! xx
It’s so amazing how inspired I am every time I read one of your emails. It’s as if the world has stopped still for a moment or an hour do that I can write. This new world of mine is do full of stories about me in the 3rd person. Do I sit and just let it flow, yes I do and I don’t read it just yet. The writer in me has awoken.
Thank you 💛💚💜
Hi Billie! I’m so very glad that you’re writing your stories and enjoying it! Keep going! Lots of love Ed xx
Congratulations on getting your stories published. I enjoyed the first, but didn’t have time to read the second one. Sorry!
Thanks for reading Carole. The other book you have to buy anyway 🙂 xx
