It’s hard to be a writer in Queensland in winter. No heating, drafty old wooden houses,and sitting still all day in front of the computer. The sun is shining, but not in here. Only six weeks of winter left. Bring on Spring!

Here here. If only the laptop screen would cope with being out in the sunshine and I would consider running a cord out to our space in the sun.
We sound like a bunch of whingers don’t we – but as you mention – without proper heating etc, winter here is bitter.
I’d like to head back to the Bunya mountains to the roaring fire or to Cairns where it’s still warm during Winter.
*sigh* now off to find my fingerless gloves … my hands are freezing.
